PencilPage makes printable worksheets: handwriting and name tracing, math practice with answer keys, word searches, mazes, bingo cards, crosswords and printable paper. Each one is a small generator rather than a fixed file, so you choose the words, the numbers, the size and the paper, and you can make a fresh variant whenever you need one.
Who it is for
Teachers, homeschooling parents, tutors, occupational therapists and adults practicing their own handwriting. The pages are written for the grown-up who prints the sheet, and nothing on the site asks a child to sign up, chat or play online.
What makes it different
Print letters are drawn from our own stroke-by-stroke alphabet, so tracing dots run down the middle of each stroke and every letter can show where to start and which way to go. School handwriting styles from the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Ireland and South Africa come from the open-source Playwrite fonts. Puzzles are checked by automated tests: every listed word in a word search is really in the grid, every maze has a path, every bingo card in a set is different.
How we test every sheet
Each release runs an automated test suite over the generators before it ships: 300 word searches are checked letter by letter so every listed word is in the grid and none of them repeats, 60 mazes are walked to confirm every cell is reachable and there is a path from start to finish, sets of 100 bingo cards are compared so no two are the same, crosswords are checked for clashing letters, thousands of math problems are recomputed against their answer keys, and every PDF is parsed to confirm its structure. Paper rulings are measured too: a quarter-inch square really is 18 points across.
